For Runners & Yogi's ... you can be both! As part of the lead up to the Wanderlust 108 mindful triathlon in Amsterdam, join us at LUVI Yoga to combine energizing running and restorative yoga.
Georgia (@city_alps) & Mirjam (@myrunspiration) are both passionate trail runners, who love to coach and share their love for movement! For our workshop on September 2, we will start indoors, preparing our bodies with 30 minutes of strong, dynamic vinyasa flow. You will learn to create strength and awareness in your body and to connect movement to breath. Next, we take it outside for the run!
The 1 hour run will be made up of both short and long intervals, training muscular endurance and mindset. Georgia and Mirjam will help you understand and experience the mind-body connection and focus on how you are feeling as you move through different intensities.
By now your body will be craving recovery and restoration. We will finish back on the mat for 30 minutes of static yoga stretches. Through this restorative yoga practice, we will create a feeling of length and balance in your running body.
